Cuomo, Molinaro Spar Over Debates

After refusing to debate his Republican opponent, Gov. Cuomo appears to be moving toward agreeing to some sort of debate with Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro. The Governor initially agreed to a Saturday morning radio event — a “moderated conversation” – but Molinaro rejected that, calling it “a staged fraud on the taxpayers of New York.”
The latest discussion is a taped debate to air Tuesday night at 7:00 PM.
With just 15 days to go before Election Day, we continue to call for the candidates to lay out their respective plans for improving the Upstate economy. In a state capital dominated by New York City interests, Upstate voters want to know where the candidates stand on taxes, jobs and other key issues.
