In Wake Of COVID-19, Facebook’s “Business Resource Hub” Helps Business Owners
Earlier this week, the World Health Organization officially designated COVID-19 as a pandemic. As cases continue to rise in New York, so will the fears and anxieties of business owners and their employees. It is critical that business owners in upstate New York, and across the nation, have reliable access to important resources and information to help them overcome obstacles and challenges as a result of the spread of the coronavirus.
In wake of the COVID-19 crisis, we wanted to provide access to resources to help battle through this situation. Facebook has launched a Business Resource Hub to help small businesses experiencing unexpected challenges. Facebook’s Hub offers a number of steps business owners can take to manage and build resilience during this fast-moving pandemic, including:
- Pages & news sources to follow for the most up-to-date alerts on COVID-19.
- Proactive ways to support and engage with your customers.
- Best practices and tools available to protect your business from interruptions.
- Quick action guide to help plan your emergency response and develop plans to minimize downtime.
- FAQs for business owners, employers, and consumers.
This resource is one of the many ways Unshackle Upstate and Facebook are working to help and support communities across New York State that are impacted by COVID-19. To learn more about the Business Resource Hub, click here.
