A staggering 80 percent of New Yorkers – across the political spectrum – identified cost of living to be the most important issue for state leaders to address, with 57 percent displeased with the quality o life in New York. These recent results from Siena’s latest poll serve as a reminder that affordability and quality of life are not partisan issues, and more importantly that action needs to be taken to improve the lives of New Yorkers.
Hardworking New Yorkers deserve to feel some relief when it comes to doing business and living in the Empire State. We strongly encourage the governor and members of the legislature to take these issues seriously as they prepare for the upcoming legislative session and budget proces
