Upstate United Applauds Unanimous Vote AGAINST Pay Raise for New York State Lawmakers

“Today, members of the New York State Commission on Legislative, Judicial, & Executive Compensation voted unanimously against a pay raise for statewide elected officials and state legislators. Yet another pay raise, on top of the obscene 80 percent increase state lawmakers have received over the past seven years, would have been a slap in the face to all New Yorkers struggling to make ends meet.”
